what are your opinions on the law of attraction?

I’ve been learning about the law of attraction and a lot of things with it, I believe, and he claims that the whole thing is a cult. What do you guys think?

In the book the “The Secret”, It says that the law of attraction is like attracting whatever you think into your life. So whatever situation you are in now, you attract it into your life because of your pass thoughts. It also says that the Universe is like a genie; it’s like your wish is my command.
